Driver Logs

RAIR’s web-based log auditing program works with paper logs, log images and electronic log data.  Our comprehensive and highly-customizable system can meet your HOS needs no matter how regulations evolve and no matter what decisions your fleet makes about paper vs. electronic logs.

Flexibility: Motor carriers can submit any combination of electronic logs, paper logs and/or log images.  Our reports integrate all of the log data we receive, regardless of the original format.  We help carriers maintain a continuous hours-of-service record while transitioning to EOBRs at their own pace.

Customization: Users have many opportunities to customize their log auditing services:  setting company violations for speeding and other measures, assigning points for specific violations to rank and counsel drivers, receiving automated alerts for a variety of risk factors and more.

Reports by location: Users can build reports for any part of their fleet, from a corporate overview to terminal-level reports to records for an individual driver.  Users can also drill down through their company structure to find the information they need.

Supplemental auditing: Additional log accuracy checks compare log data to any form of downloadable electronic data that includes dates and times, such as motor carrier profiles, fuel events and gate-pass records.

Driver counseling tools: For no additional fees, HOS clients have access to RAIR’s driver counseling tools, which include automated violation summary reports, automated violations letters, electronic records of counseling sessions and reports for repeat violations after counseling.

Team drivers: RAIR’s team driver reports display both drivers’ logs side-by-side on the same page, eliminating the need to toggle between images.

Paper logs: Carriers with paper logs can continue using their existing log forms, which RAIR scans at no additional cost.

Rapid processing: Audited logs and reports are available within 24-48 hours, and reports are updated in real time.

For carriers in transition

RAIR’s HOS system integrates both paper and electronic logs in the same reports, yet allows users to distinguish between the two types with ease.  A single log-in allows motor carriers to track drivers’ consecutive hours-of-service, as well as complete HOS history, while combining paper and electronic logs. This helps ease the transition to EOBRs and helps train drivers to use the devices.
