What is the new web portal?
RAIR is creating a web portal for accessing our system. All of our services (driver log auditing, CSA, DQ file management, DVIR auditing, etc.) will be accessed through a single, integrated web page.
How will the portal work?
After we make the transition to the portal, users will access our system by going to portal.rair.com. Simply enter your existing user name and password, and you will arrive at our new landing page. You will be redirected automatically to the portal for the first several weeks after its introduction.
Users will be able to continue accessing our system through the Client Login link on www.rair.com. This link will take users directly to the portal after we make the transition.
Will my user name and password still work?
Yes, the user names and passwords for authorized users will remain the same.
When will RAIR switch to the portal?
The portal page will be in place on Monday, September 19.
Does this affect me if I only use one of RAIR services?
All clients will access our site through the portal. This applies to clients who only use one of our services and clients who use multiple services.
Why is RAIR creating a portal?
We are creating a portal for several reasons:
To make our services easier to use. You will be able to access all of our services with a single log in. You will also be able to move more easily between our different services.
To create more sophisticated tools. By integrating all of our services, we can create more advanced tools to help carriers leverage their safety data to improve their CSA scores. Down the road, for example, we’ll be able to compare a driver’s log history with his Driver Fatigue BASIC scores.
To improve security. Your data will be more secure with a single log in page and our new security certificate.
To improve communication. The portal will also help you stay informed about updates and new features. Instead of waiting for this information to arrive by e-mail, you will be alerted to changes as we make them.
