RAIR adds Roadside Inspection Report Manager to its CSA 2010 solution

July 14th, 2010

RAIR, a leading provider of risk management services to the transportation industry, has introduced the Roadside Inspection Report Manager, the newest addition to its CSA 2010 solution.

The Roadside Inspection Report Manager matches paper roadside inspection reports with COMPASS inspection data to check for accuracy, to assist carriers in challenging inaccurate data, and to help carriers avoid fines by complying with reporting requirements.  “It’s quite common for drivers to forget to turn in inspection reports,” says JJ Singh, President and CEO of RAIR.  “This can be a real problem for carriers because they need to know what’s in those inspection reports.”

The Roadside Inspection Report Manager alerts carriers when an inspection has taken place so they can contact their drivers and request the reports.  “This tool helps carriers keep track of these documents so nothing falls through the cracks,” Singh says, noting that carriers have only 15 days to return signed paper reports to the issuing authorities.

RAIR’s CSA 2010 solution helps carriers manage their CSA 2010 violations data and use that data to improve their safety scores.
